How to Navigate the CancerHub Website
The CancerHub website allows users to collaborate, and to become involved in cancer research in NZ. Users can quickly link to web pages for cancer researchers in NZ, either using the website search function, or from the About page, navigating to a region in NZ or academic institutions, and clicking on a researcher’s name.
The CancerHub website also allows users to browse by cancer type, or specific areas of research interest. NZ Tumour Standards can also be accessed.
Users are requested to register with CancerHub and log in to access the “tools” or “collaborate” resource pages. On the Tools page researchers may access research tools, together with explanations for their use.
On the Collaborate page researchers may access resources for collaboration, and explanations of how to make best use of these.
On the Drug Discovery page users can navigate to identify researchers involved in different aspects of cancer drug discovery in NZ.
There are resources for users to be able to find clinical trials of interest, and for users to participate in the co-design of research. This includes resources available for users of Maori ethnicity in NZ.
Users can access Newsletters and NZ cancer news on the Forum page. Registered members who are logged in can also access resources for social networking, blogs and user personal profiles, which are available in the Forum.
